Important: Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using GleemLens. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing and using GleemLens ("Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, please do not use our Service.
2. Description of Service
GleemLens is a web-based platform that enables users to create, submit, and publish augmented reality (AR) lenses for platforms including Snapchat, TikTok, and web browsers. Our service includes:
- Lens design and creation tools
- Integration with Canva for design editing
- Lens submission and review process
- Publication to supported AR platforms
- Asset hosting and distribution
3. User Accounts
3.1 Account Creation
To use GleemLens, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
3.2 Account Requirements
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
3.3 Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms of Service or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.
4. Credits and Payments
4.1 Credit System
GleemLens operates on a credit-based system. Each lens submission requires one (1) credit. Credits can be purchased through our platform.
4.2 Pricing
Current pricing is displayed on our website and may be updated at any time. Price changes will not affect credits already purchased.
4.3 Non-Refundable Credits
Important: All credit purchases are final and non-refundable. Once a credit is used to submit a lens for review, it cannot be refunded, regardless of whether the lens is approved or rejected.
4.4 Payment Processing
Payments are processed through Paystack. By making a purchase, you agree to Paystack's terms of service. We do not store your payment information.
5. Lens Submission and Review
5.1 Submission Process
When you submit a lens for review:
- One (1) credit is deducted from your account
- Your lens enters our review queue
- Review typically takes 24-48 hours
- You will be notified of the review outcome via email and in-app notification
5.2 Approval Criteria
Lenses must meet the following requirements for approval:
- Comply with platform guidelines (Snapchat, TikTok, etc.)
- Contain appropriate content (no violence, hate speech, adult content, etc.)
- Function correctly with proper assets
- Meet technical specifications (image formats, dimensions, file sizes)
5.3 Rejection
If your lens is rejected, you will receive a detailed explanation. Credits used for rejected lenses are not refunded. You may edit and resubmit using a new credit.
6. Content Rights and Ownership
6.1 Your Content
You retain all ownership rights to the designs, images, and content you upload to GleemLens. By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to:
- Process and publish your lens to the selected platforms
- Host and distribute your lens assets
- Display your lens in promotional materials (with your permission)
6.2 Content Restrictions
You agree not to upload content that:
- Violates intellectual property rights of others
- Contains illegal, harmful, or offensive material
- Violates privacy rights or impersonates others
- Contains malware or malicious code
- Violates platform guidelines of Snapchat, TikTok, or other target platforms
6.3 Platform Rights
GleemLens owns all rights to the platform software, infrastructure, and proprietary technology. This agreement does not grant you any ownership of our intellectual property.
7. Third-Party Services
7.1 Canva Integration
When using Canva integration, you are subject to Canva's terms of service. We are not responsible for Canva's service availability or functionality.
7.2 Platform Publication
Publication to Snapchat, TikTok, and other platforms is subject to their respective terms and policies. We cannot guarantee lens approval or continued availability on these platforms.
8. Service Availability
8.1 Service Level
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience technical issues that affect availability.
8.2 Modifications
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.
9. Limitation of Liability
9.1 Service "As Is"
GleemLens is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:
- The service will be error-free or uninterrupted
- All lenses will be approved by review or platforms
- Your lenses will achieve any specific performance or engagement
9.2 Damages
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GleemLens and Hoolah Technologies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues.
9.3 Maximum Liability
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
10. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
- Resell or redistribute our Service without authorization
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GleemLens, Hoolah Technologies, and our affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
- Content you submit to the Service
12. Privacy
Your use of GleemLens is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand our data practices.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
15. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Lagos, Nigeria.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
